Role Overview
We’re looking for a high-performing Closer to convert qualified inbound leads into paying customers. You’ll be speaking with founders from all over the world, helping them understand how Lazo can be a game-changer for their U.S. operations. This is a consultative sales role that requires strong communication skills, pipeline discipline, and a genuine understanding of the VC/startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-impact sales calls with inbound leads (mainly startup founders).
- Qualify prospects and tailor your pitch to their needs, with a clear consultative approach.
- Maintain a clean and accurate pipeline in the CRM.
- Own the full closing process: proposal → follow-up → objection handling → close.
- Collaborate with the Growth and Operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in U.S. company formation, fundraising, taxes, and compliance.
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Document all activity and provide insights into what’s working and what’s not.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. startup operations, fundraising stages, and US structures.
- Excellent pipeline management and CRM hygiene (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar).
- Native-level Spanish and fluent English (written and spoken).
- Empathy, curiosity, and hustle — you genuinely want to help founders win.
