We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized profile with strong execution skills to support the Community team in the implementation of events and experiences across Latin America and the United States.
Main responsibilities:
Support the CEO’s travel logistics planning (flight search, accommodation coordination), in coordination with the People team, which will continue to lead this process.
Update and maintain the CRM: upload and organize databases of events, vendors, speakers, sponsors, and key players.
Source and manage relationships with vendors in cities across LATAM and the US. (catering, photographers, venues, beverages, graphic design, production, etc.).
Support the creation and basic editing of graphic materials and presentations (simple designs in Luma, event calendar slides, etc.).
Support event invitation and registration processes:
Send confirmation and reconfirmation emails.
Manage the community@lazo.us inbox.
Send updates via Luma.
Build and organize attendee lists (alphabetized, segmented, and highlighting key profiles such as clients, partners, leads, VCs, founders, etc.).
Support post-event processes:
Upload and document expenses in the CRM.
Organize backups (databases, photos, videos, materials) in Drive.
Send thank-you emails to attendees, speakers, sponsors, and vendors (via Mailchimp or corporate email).
Collect and monitor feedback in Luma.
Assist in on-site event execution:
Coordinate with local vendors.
Support guests, speakers, and partners during events.
Document and help improve team processes.
Write descriptions of events and experiences.
Coordinate CEO meetings with stakeholders in different cities.
Register team members for external events and manage calendars (including full details of each activity and our role).
Profile:
Highly organized, execution-oriented, and solution-driven.
Proactive, with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Interest in events, community building, and the startup and investment ecosystem in Latin America and the US.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
